With 115 islands, and around 150,000 visitors every year, the Seychelles Tourist Board has a lot of information to manage. Having built themselves a highly sophisticated Destination Management System which holds content on almost all aspects of the islands and simultaneously powers their web site, ReportLab has now enabled them to instantly publish any of this content into beautiful PDF brochures to take away from the site.
It's a cost effective and environmentally friendly way of getting information to tourists and travel agents all around the world - over 30 distinct types of content can be published, from accommodation listings to guidebook information, and are available for download across their website.
The system delivers guides and brochures to STB website visitors in a single mouse click. Using a simple API, content can be chosen and collated into visually stunning brochures from a single html link, precisely targeted at those browsing the web, existing customers, or travel agents.
We are working with STB to allow visitors to take away a fully personalised guidebook as the next phase.
