RLIMG: the works.net case study

TheWorkx.Net was a dot-com selling detailed sales lead intelligence to some of the UK's largest technology sales forces, based on a sophisticated "database of databases" covering all UK small and medium sized Enterprises. The sales forces of the companies using the service used an online system to qualify and select sales leads, then take away a dynamically-built profile of the lead. This included everything from details of their existing investments to names and contact details of key staff - even a map of how to get there!

The core business of this client was producing reports and ReportLab's software allowed them to integrate information from multiple sources into a single visually attractive report with integrated graphics and charts, in a system designed to handle massive loads at peak hours in a scalable environment.
